Tell us a little about you... I am a mother of 3 teenagers who love the Lord. My favourite things are mission, nutrition and hospitality. What's your favourite bible passage and why? My favourite bible passage is Psalm 37v4 which was a verse that Sir Marcus Loane shared with me when I was a young shop assistant. He asked me a lot of questions, including whether or not I was a Christian and I ended up as a sermon illustration at KEC in 1993 and that was one of the things that confirmed to my husband that I was the one for him. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. How do you keep your eyes on Jesus? God keeps shaking me up, so I have no choice but to fix my eyes on Jesus or I'll come unstuck. What would you like the next generation of Christian women to know? I'd like the next generation of Christian women to think missionally. The time is short. We need to aim at raising kids that are not cultural Christians, Christians who go to Church and are on the roster, (but try to avoid engaging the unsaved) but kids who are trained in service of Jesus such that they will raise our grandchildren to know Jesus. What's one thing you love about your local church? My local Church is welcoming and wants Baulkham Hills to know Jesus. What did you learn about God at a time in your life you found hard? What I learnt about God in a hard time is that God is faithful and that earthly Christian leaders can and quite possibly will hurt and abandon you, but Jesus is faithful , he will not leave you. What do you enjoy doing when you rest? When I am resting I like to read novels and cookbooks and sip tea and or coffee. I quite like cheese and wine too.
