Submissions

We accept submissions each season (ie Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring) from Australian Christian women.

Who Can Submit
 

  • Submissions are open to Australian Christian women only

  • Writers should align broadly with the heart of Fixing Her Eyes: Christ-centred, Scripture-based, and encouraging women to fix their eyes on Jesus

  • Please note that contributors do not receive payment for published articles

Article Guidelines
​

  • Length: ~800–1500 words (flexible depending on content)

  • Tone: Warm, thoughtful, theologically grounded, accessible

  • Content: Based on Scripture. Personally reflective, pastoral, or theologically insightful. Relevant to women’s discipleship, church life, culture, or faith

  • Articles must be original and without AI use. Articles may be published elsewhere after one month. Link back to fixinghereyes.org is necessary. 

     

Submission Deadlines

Please submit by the last day of the following months:

  • June 30

  • September 30

  • November 30

  • February 28

​

(Submissions received after these dates may be considered for the next cycle.)

 

What to Include
​

Please attach the following:

  • Your article (Word doc or Google Doc link)

  • A high-quality headshot/photo

  • A short bio (2–4 sentences, including church/ministry context if relevant)

Include:

  • Your name

  • Article title

  • A brief sentence introducing your piece

  • Subject line: FHE Article Submission

What Happens Next
​

Once we receive your submission:
 

  • We’ll confirm it has arrived

  • Our editorial team will review your piece

  • We may suggest edits or ask follow-up questions

  • If accepted, we’ll let you know about publication timing, and when we post to social media (including Facebook and Instagram)
