What’s your favourite bible passage & why?

Hmm, I guess it depends on the season of life that I find myself in though my constant ones would have to be Roman 8: 28 and 38. Knowing that all things work together for my good gives me great peace and assurance that God is in control. From verse 38, Nothing separates us from the love of God. God’s love for us is unconditional and it’s an everlasting love.

How do you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus?

I always pray that I will be aware of His presence every day. It’s very easy to get overwhelmed with life and forget that He is ever present so making a conscious decision each day is worth it. I also choose to spend time in God’s presence with no destructions each day focusing on who he is and worshipping Him that’s very helpful too.

What would you like the next generation of Christian women to know?

  • That they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God and He has a good plan for their individual lives. In today’s world with social media, it’s very easy to compare your life to someone else and become ungrateful. Comparison robs us of our joy and we miss out on what God has planned for us. Having a grateful heart and a contented spirit is very important.

  • It’s ok for women to be leaders and shine God’s light in their areas of influence.

What’s one thing that you love about your local church?

I love the enthusiasm and the love for reaching out to the lost people and the welcoming spirit of the entire church.

What did you learn about God at a time in your life you found hard?

God is patient and he is kind. He always provides a way out of trouble and in the midst of hard times He teaches us great lessons about life that we can us to encourage other believers.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about life, living the abundant life that Jesus died for me to have. I’m also passionate about encouraging other people in their walk with Christ and non-believers getting to know Jesus.

What do you enjoy doing when you rest?

I love reading a good book, going for a swim, a walk along the beach or watching the sunset.
